Did you do a BSI reset?

 

Hi Gibbo yea I did give that a go but unfortunately it didn't seem to work.

Was the new battery fully charged when you put it in? If it's happened straight after the battery was replaced, you could try to leave the battery disconnected for an hour or so, but first the system needs to shutdown properly. Try leaving the bonnet open so that you can get at the terminals without opening the door, then remove the key, close the doors, lock the car and wait for 10 mins. I'm not sure if this will work, but worth a try. Another possibility is that there's something wrong with the BSI, but it's an odd coincidence.

 

Hi, does anyone know how to fix the problem?
I reseted BSI but it didnt help. Only thing i can do is to open and close the door wich turns the light off. But after i turn the engine on and off, the lights will turn again on after a few minutes.

I had the same problem. Found a reply on this forum that it’s the fuse box. I bought a second hand fuse box off eBay (£45) and did a simple replacement. Been fine for 2 months now

 

Hi Charlie, I Have this problem as well.. You mean the fuse box under the hood?
