You have updated planet to too new a version most likely just because updates are there does not mean you should use them

Lots of people have problems with 307s especially with updated systems I am running the version it installs with and have never felt the need to update anything it works fine so no updates for me.

 

Agreed, my version is quite old ( V22.24 ) and it does 307's no problem.

Some Chinese boxes, with the LED, are faulty with suspect soldering - is there someone on the Planet map that can use their box on your laptop, just to eliminate it....

 

I actually tried to connect every time before I update to the next version... NOTHING ... I never managed to connect to the ecu. I am suspecting a faulty interface card too... unfortunately I am in Denmark and I am not sure if there is anyone around here to test my unit.

 

On your laptop only use the shorter of the two cables there is a folder on the dvd with the drivers Ensure you Install the drivers and then connect the Lexia to every single USB port and watch to see if it Installs the drivers to each Port

the longer lead was no good on My Lexia

If you could not connect you should not have updated you need to sort 1 thing before updating as you then end up chasing your tail.

Does planet see the adapter ok is the light coming on in it as I remember 1 of my installs would only work in 1 usb port but not in any others !!

 

Let me try to explain the situation again to avoid misunderstanding. The interface is accessible via the computer. The interface checker is recognizing the interface and it can also update the firmware in it.
The problem is that pp2000 although it is starting (and as far as I understand you need to be connected to the interface in order to start pp2000) it gives me an error that Cant Connect to the ECU. thats that.

 

Try your kit on someone else's car or ask another local member to try their known working jit on your car to identify where the fault is.

My car is picky, the engine ECU can only be read with Revision C Lexia hardware and Diagbox 7.

Whats your Firmware?

I know my (2005) 307 you need 921815C/ Firmware rev.c as there is a known problem with lexia3 on the 307 from 2004 onwards.

Check the round plug pins on interface cable. Some clones have poorly crimped connections which can give issues with comms

 

Planet should load to the car selection screen fine without an adapter connected is it getting to this screen and you pick the 307 then van or can or do you not get this far ?

 

I have the problem with b revision of the cloned Lexia. At first I didnt abd tried it with newest pp2000 and lexia and of course it didnot work. After that I found older version. I reinstalled xpsp3 and installed pp2000 22.14. Now when I connect it to car it recognizes model and vin number but after that it do not connect to any ecu. If I turn it off and start again it again recognizes vin number and model but not communicate with any ecu. Will it help if I find somehow to update it to c revision. I have Peugeot 407 2006 year.

 

Have you tried a different USB port on the laptop? My old laptop has 2 and planet only connects on one of them. Just switch it over without the software running and allow the interface USB drivers to install. You never know.

 

Have you checked the fuse for the obd socket..?

 

I have an elm 327 bluetooth and it works without problem on that obd cocket so it shouldn't be fuse

 

As I said Rev B will not work for 307 models earlier than 2004, you must refund/exchange/sell and get rev C. I went through this myself, its the only car that has troubles..

Hi all I have diagbox that I have tried to connect to my 308sw but keeps wanting to activate / validate Anybody out there give me a helping hand it would be appreciated!!

 

the red cross onscreen also disconnect wireless

 

Wireless is disconnected and when I click the red cross keeps coming back with the activate / authenticate box!

 

Check the disk you installed from for installation instructions. There should be a text file that tells you what steps are required.

I note that my version of Peugeot Planet gives me a Brochure page number for the specific error code I received. Does anyone know how I can get hold of this 'brochure'?
