Also my engine is a dw10fu they are a fortune i can get a dw10 fd for half the price the main engine looks the same could I just put all my bits on to that engine and b ok if mine is goosed

If you look at Picture 4 in the attached link you will see the locking hole is tucked up well behind the starter. The holes you are seeing maybe the balancing holes in the flywheel.

They are the same core block and bottom end heads vary between models and specs 8V 16V, other emission bits and injection systems/makes

Timing Info

Difficult to get my bearings with that picture I am sure the correct hole is the one between the two webs in the centre of the picture. (it looks like someone has used the other one as the hole looks clean

The second picture they are balance holes in the flywheel and the locking hole is the one in the U of the block casting

If it is the other hole i would assume its the hole with the chamfered edges shown in your first picture.

I have always done them with starter in place and you can just feel the hole between the web of the block and the starter and on all the ones I have done only one position ever locks the crank on all the 2.0 hdi's I have worked on

hi,

I think I have the same problem to my Citroen Relay 2.0Blue 94kW. How much did you paid for the parts? What manufacturer did you use and where did you bought it from? Thanks
