I got the coding instruction from ServiceBox now, so will proceed with the cabling... Maybe this comes to a conclusion after all. Will post detailed information on how to do it later.

Oh, and a little googling later, here you go, installation instruction for the 3008/5008 as well! Here's a proof that part number 16 475 801 80 works for 3008/5008. Now if we just could find the coding instruction somehow... The document attached refers to another document for coding (NOT_3809_DIAGBOX_Caméra_De_Recul_180°.pdf) that I have not been able to locate.
Hi,
Do you have docs for visio park 2? I already had visio park 1 :), tks

I retrofitted visio park 1 at my local Peugeot dealer on an Active trim and everything is working fine. Few months before that was not possible as Peugeot was not providing the coding software to the dealers. I asked for visio park 2 but they told me that this cant be done.

Yesterday I finally set out to install the camera (been sitting on the shelf for ages). I did in the end order the kit with the part number 1647580180 which gives you everyhing you need to mount it for 3008. Cable harness, plugs, camera, camera mount etc. and the price is cheaper vs. buying those separately. You still need a way to get the coding done, of course.

Everything went fine until I got to the step 42 of the instruction (that's linked earlier in this thread). The 16V N connector is behind a white plastic panel and the access to it is rather limited. You'll need to disconnect a few other connectors in order to move the white panel out of the way. Even then I was not sure if the connector is actually the same as in the instruction as the picture shows a connector with different colour wires than my car has. The connector itself looks the same and is a black 16-pin connector, so that matches. Of course in my case the V10 (pin number 10) is occupied, so I can't just simply add the pin into the connector. In other words, my scenario is the one on the right in step 42:

94170

However, there's very little space to do any crimping there. After a bit of head scratching I put everything together as wife needed the car this morning and time was running out.

Once I get this sorted out, I'll make a guide for it. I've taken a lot of pictures.

olli_tf please can you share document for coding: NOT_3809_DIAGBOX_Caméra_De_Recul_180°.pdf.
The coding instruction is available here in the internet:

I think I found an easier way to splice that wire than doing it near the 16V N connector in front.

According to the schematics of my car, the pin 10 of the 16V NR (black) connector in front of the car (BSI1) is connected to the pin 10 of the 18V VE (green) connector of the parking assistance ECU (7500).

This ECU is easily accessible in the rear of the car:

As the camera wiring goes past that ECU anyhow, it should be much easier to splice the wire there vs. the cramped space in the front. I'll certainly give it a try. I think the instruction is generic and that's why they tell you to splice the wire in the front as not all cars have the parking assistance ECU (I think most of them should though!).

Also, looking at the schematics of a car that does have a rear camera, we can see that the wire ZE05B is split to the reversing camera (7533). Only to sort of confirm that it's indeed that wire that should be spliced...

Does anyone know if this kit would work on a Vauxhall Grandland X as I noticed the camera part number is the same used in the Grandlands?

Seeing as the Grandland X is just a 3008 in disguise there's a very good chance it will.

Would really need to study the various 3008 / Grandland X wiring & parts diagrams to cross check.

Thanks for your reply. Hopefully someone will have that information as I don't have access to any of that.

I did find this so it looks hopeful

Hopefully someone on the forum may have access to this information as dealerships don't seem to know.

Dealership won't be interested in a enquiry like this - they just want to service / repair cars, not get involved in a potential headache like retrofitting equipment like this.

True. I just need to know its possible before ordering the kit and finding someone to do it.

Thanks but would rather not pay for it. Will wait to see if anyone know if it can be done as the kit is a good price.
