Hi there.
I have just bought an '07 207s.
I'm trying to get to grips with the RD4 (Blaupunkt?) head unit but something seems wrong with it.
When trying to adjust any settings, the far right double right arrows '>>' don't seem to work. When trying to adjust, say, the balance, they simply return to the main radio screen. However (and here's the problem) whilst trying to work out what is going on, I pushed the left double arrows '<<' which do work so now the balance is now set to full left.
So now I can't set it back.
When playing a CD, the >> won't skip to the next track but the controls on the stalk work fine.
However, the << & >> on the stalk won't change the balance controls.
When in CD mode, the >> button does what I think the 'dark' button should do: changes the display from 2 line to 1 line to blank.
When in FM mode, the 'dark' button just makes the display 'glitch' then return to where it was.
There's some other odd behaviour too but I'm not sure I've explained the ones above too well so I won't go into any further details.
Any ideas what the problem might be?
Is there a factory reset at all, so I can at least restore sound to left & right?
Thanks very much in advance.
