Hi guys,

I have the same issue that I have found here. I have the "A" version head unit which does not support AndroidAuto/Carplay. Could you please tell me what can I do to have this feature?
It seems that I need to replace the psa rcc a1 hardware to psa rcc a2, but I am uncertain about it. Is it an easy replacement of the hardware or is it more complicated?

I can imagine that the replacement of the hardware is an easy task, look at this:

...but after the hardware replacement what's next? Can it work after that? What about the future updates? In my understanding I will no longer be able to update the new hardware's rcc software with the old license key. The license key says "A" hardware based on the VIN, but the replaced hardware will be, I don't know "C" maybe.

Regards,
Lajos

Hi guys,

I have the RCC version 074C. System Info shows:
HMI version: 21.616.53.17.00
IMX version: x1001185_171122_16.1B116
V850 version: W2.1_16.1S723

But with the new iPhone 12 (updated to the current iOS 14.4.2) CarPlay closes after a few seconds (like the device was no longer connected)
No issues with previous Iphone. Same phone has no problems on other CarPlay from other vendors

Might you need to upgrade to RCC to fix this? Which version recommended?
There are some HW considerations?

Thanks

I have a car equipped with a Peugeot 2008 p24e allure. My friend's allure hardware tool has navigation but not my car's rcc.Can we upload the software version of my friend's tool to my vehicle.Does it work ?
Navigation needs a hardware. If not activated at your side so most probably it's not there. Be careful when you get an update. It must be the one authorized to your car VIN number only.

@chicla22:

You need either the VIN of the donor car or the uin/serial number (20 hex-digits, usually starts with xD0...) of the new infotainment system. I don't have a RCC system, and it seems you can't export the configuration as you can do in the NAC ones, but you probably could find the uin in the spy logs.

Thanks! Is 4Gb fat32 pendrive enough?
No, the last version is 8 211 722 240 bytes. And I'm not sure if a 8 GB (8 589 934 592 bytes) flash drive is enough after formatting...

Hi
First time Peugeot for me, 3008 allure 1.6 petrol thp 2018 and I like it👍
Have problem with android auto and connection to car-phone with cable. Tried different cables ( even samsung original from phone with error msg: cable connection not stable) but with no success. Bluetooth connection works fine.
Phone info: Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with Android 12.
System Info and RCC info (no navigation) :

RCC from VIN number - Peugeot app on USB;

Please check if MirrorLink is anywhere to find. If not, then you have a RCC wave1 system. That system does not allow the connection via Carplay or Android Auto.

Hi. Yes, I have MirrorLink as a option. As per my understanding and what I have read in this forum I have version 2.

Regarding MirrorLink, unfortunately showing navigation, call and audio from the smartphone to the in-car infotainment display with a driver-friendly interface it's dead 🤷‍♂️.
