You can only switch it off temporarily during work for example if its going into economy mode a lot you probably need a new battery

 

ahh I see, im a courier driver and spend a lot of time sitting watching movies, listening to music on a pioneer appradio however and the economy mode is kicking in maximum of 20 mins.

If I leave the car for a few days to car is in eco mode when I go back to it, and windows are pathetically slow too

I got a new battery just two months ago but did realise it was smaller than the one it replaced but was assured it was correct by the shop

 

I believe you can put your car in 'Showroom' mode which disables the economy mode.

Yes but it only works on some models and I believe it disables other things needed for normal driving !!

20 mins is normal for economy mode to be honest your battery is probably fine only option you really have is a different vehicle

 

As mentioned above, you go to BSI, configuration, show room mode, and there you can deactivate economy mode

 

or just simply start the engine for a minute.

 

looks like my best bet is too get over it then, pointless having a radio I can watch things on then I suppose!
