I have a small oil leak, hardly any on the ground, does not need topped up between services.
Oil is most noticeable somewhere behind the alternator. See image.
Hard to see anywhere close to turbo, but oil seems to be closer to the alternator.
I do not have a ramp to examine closely.
It is not running down from the rocker cover.
The timing chain housing seems dry.
Photo looks very oily but this is after spraying liberally with engine cleaner.
What are the potential leaks in that area? Are any of these leeks a potential risk for something to fail?
Which are easy or difficult to repair?
