Hi
I have a 2015 508 SW GT 2.2 that on occasions while driving and on acceleration throws up engine amber light and service word on the dash. The fault code P11AA shows on diagnostics.
Peugeot dealer replaced the air flow meter, and everything was fine for approx 2 weeks then same thing again, this time apparently it was the map sensor so that was replaced again car was fine 1 week and yesterday the on acceleration the amber light came on again and when home the fault code P11AA is back.
I've been advised it looks like I have a leak on my air intake somewhere.

Does anyone have any advice before I plow yet money in to what's not the problem.

If I clear the code it doesn't come back for sometimes days, and sometimes it pops up dash for a second and goes off

Fault Code P11AA 508 2.2
General meaning:
Turboboost pressure lower than expected
Turboboost pressure higher than expected

Given you had the sensor replaced, unlikely to be the cause, but the above is the tests for it. The next possible cause is an air leak, often missed one is the o-ring on the dipstick.

You're looking for un-metered air entering the system. That o-ring can do it, and it can be intermittent. Anywhere after mass air flow meter along air intake, is the obvious, but this one gets missed all the time.

Thank you appreciate that, I'll have a look and see if I can see or here anything while I'm waiting on couple local garages getting back to me.

Will I be damaging the car if I still drive it obviously I don't drive like an idiot anyway

Well I wouldn't be doing any rally driving till you work it out the cause, in case it was a turboboost over pressure, but inclined to think it's turboboost lower than expected warning. Particularly if you're not really under boost when the error does happen.

A split in air-intake hose, a small one, might also be a source.

Are you 100% the correct valve was changed and the right valve used. They are a pain to access on this engine and there are two different types of valve.

If all ok check the vacuum system for leaks and then boost pipework. Then that the turbo actuator linkage is moving freely.

That code is for lack of boost often caused by poor turbo regulation. Boost leaks often have a second code regarding airflow

hi everyone, problem seem to be getting solved, they changed the 1618JT 1618QL depression tubing and it seems that its working well, no fault code even with full throttle. thanks everybody for the help. any update will post it.
