307 sw se 1.6 hdi
Management light on and depollution system faulty warning.

I Was driving and the car went in to limp mode. I thought It was going to be dpf blocked but it's not.

Code p0245 came up.
I changed the turbo solenoid valve. That didnt work
I Ran Actuator test and it comes back with fault short circuit to earth.
Where and how can I test the wiring?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Hayden

PEUGEOT 307 1.6 HDiF 16V DV6TED4 (9HZ) 2004 - 2010

DTC P0245 Turbo pressure control solenoid 1 circuit low
If, however, we take the information from diagnostics, then you have a short to earth, which is a wiring / connector, and/or an end component fault and this can also exist with a low voltage. Not doubting diagnostics, just giving what Haynes calls up as the potential cause and the order to go looking.

Electrical causes for this DTC
(1) Boost Pressure Sensor

(2) Turbo Pressure Solenoid Positions Sensor

(3) Turbo Pressure Control Solenoid

I can provide individual testing of each wire / component above. You will need to be able to use a multimeter.

There can be mechanical causes for this DTC, as well, to consider. This is a diminished issue based on the DTC information. So as an example, intake air or vacuum leaks, but not limited to.

Peugeot or Peugeot | Parts Catalogs | PartSouq may work with your VIN to get OEM part numbers or exploded / location views.

Hope you find this useful.

Very helpful thank you.

I dont think I have a position sensor.
And my solenoid is only 2 pin.
So maybe I should start and check continuity then check each wire to earth. My wires are green and a kind of red. Do they come out out of the harness near the battery and go in to plug 1 on the ecu or do the go some where else.
I have checked vacuum and I believe it is all fine. I have check and blown through the 3 pipes to the solenoid

I can pull the Peugeot workshop diagrams, but need the whole VIN to try and locate. The RPO is also very useful.

I dont think I have a position sensor.
Think it is on top of the wastegate for the turbo, off memory, if this helps.

And my solenoid is only 2 pin.
The wiring diagram shows only two pins, but the picture is generic, so it might just be that.

Ok had some time on it today
Connector block c pin E1 green wire continuity fine +3.52v on ignition switch and +2.52v onces running
I think I traced the other wire to the plug circled in red brown wire permanent earth

I have tried 3 different valves and with it unplugged diagbox says open circuit and when i plugged it in it comes back as short circuit to earth.
And I lose all volts.
I have also found that the car will run with no faults or warnings when solenoid is unplugged but I have no boost. So alittle slow.

Also I dont have a boost pressure sensor on the turbo. I think it is one of the sensors on the air doser.

Not sure what I can test next.
Thanks Hayden

Solved. Ok so after a lot of testing on other vehicles and even looking at a full wiring harness out of another car.
The solenoid valve should have 12v on ignition.
So turns out fuse 10 in the engine bay green 30amp is responsible for a few systems and is listed as actuators and solenoid valve. I didn't have any issues with this fuse at first but now it blows constantly. Turns out my diesel heater element inside my fuel filter is a dead short. When unplugged the car is perfect no faults and drives normal. Plug it in and now instantly puts car In to limp mode and gives p0245 code along with depollanation system faulty.
Hope this helps someone else .
