I have a Peugeot 508 2015, automatic transmission, I was at the mechanic to change the oil and usual stuff.
After two days I ran out of half the tank while driving, almost instantly, the problem was that one of the diesel filter plug was not properly connected.
Since then I have a problem with my car. While I am driving everything is fine, but when I accelerate to overcome other cars the engine suddenly stops and ''Engine Fault'' message pop up in board. Check engine light pops up for a while but then turns off and the car start running normally. I was at the mechanic but no error on the tester.
Any idea what could it be? I think it may be the filter plug.
Mechanics for around here says that it's not because of the filter plug. They say the car is fine.
