Hi All I have electrical system fault flash up but only on the second start of the day, first start no issues. Stop the car start again and it flashes up? I had a new battery to try and sort it but the same message appears. When I drive it a few miles then stop the cat and start again it goes off!! Its driving me crazy as its either faulty or its not, but as it does it second start onwards I,m stumped any ideas? SS works fine with new battery no other issues I can see

The problem is unlikely to be related to the BPGA being discussed in this thread. You need to get a diagnostic scan done. There are several Peugeot owners with the Peugeot diagnostic tool. Here is a link to the UK diagnostic map: Peugeot Diagnostics Map - August 23 - Google My Maps

So, like this example? Is this enough? I thought that where there are no fuses there was no internal connection!
It seems to me that the reference 9675350380 that is for sale on aliexpress corresponds to the image above and the one I have in the car is 9675349880 (like the image below). So I can buy and adapt, right?
Thank you very much

In the case of the BSM (main engine fusebox) if the fuse is not fitted it is highly likely that there is no connection to it. However, that is not normally the case with BPGAs. The studs I have ringed connect to a plate on the other side of the BPGA. I have also included a photo of a BPGA from a 308 T9 that shows the other side of a BPGA and the plates the studs connect to. One part of the BPGA connects directly to the battery and the other part is controlled by a relay which is built into the BPGA.

I don't know the BPGA part numbers well enough to confirm this but the two different BPGAs you mention are probably the same basic BPGA with different fuse sets in which case it is simply a matter of fitting the correct fuses. However, there is a connector that controls the relay and that needs to be the same.

That side you showed is ok. Links are visible. My problem is exactly on other side I showed. Picture I posted is from Rodbowe88 case, so I think is same situation like mine. Hope he can reply is worked :)
The same plate connects to both sides of the BPGA. The studs go through both sides. I marked two studs one in green and one in blue on both sides of the BPGA.

Ian, I need your help please.
I just purchased model 9675350380 JL6.
From what I understand from your photo, there should be no continuity between the right part (Allways On) and the left part (controlled by the relay). But I received the part and when measuring with a multimeter, there is continuity between these two areas! Is it faulty or could the relay be closed by default when the part is new?

I can't be absolutely certain but it would be very surprising if the relay is in the normally closed position when there is no power to the unit.

Hi everyone, I would like to ask if anyone know difference between BPGA JL01 and BPGA JL06?I got issue on 308 battery management fault,my module JL01 but, availability on ebay only JL06.
What I found with BPGAs is there are various options which is mainly which fuses are fitted. It sounds like you have a 308 T9 which has a different BPGA to older 308 T7 but they look quite different.

The main thing is - do they look the same? If some fuses are missing or the wrong value you can swap them from the old unit.

Hi,

I'm looking to put a jumper on to bridge the relay to make my car drivable until a new bpga arrives.

Could anyone please advise exactly where to fit it?

Thanks in advance
There are several types of BPGAs so the best location for the jumper differs. There should be two bus bars (aluminium conductors) in the BPGA one will be connected directly the to the battery and the other is connected via a relay. You need put the jumper between these two bus bars. This video may give you an idea.

Hi,

Thanks for the info.

The attached pic is the back of the bpga fitted and it looks like these are the two posts are connected to the bus bars either side of the relay. Once I unmount it hopefully it'll be straight forward enough to fit the jumper.
