Hi everyone,

i recently bought Peugeot 407 2.0 HDI 136hp, 2004, and i have some issue with turbo, or some valve.

When i start car, i can use few times turbo and then it stop to work, when i turn off car and start it again it again works?

What you think that is problem? Is it going to safe mode maybe?

Diagnostics say that i have errors on EGR and some valve, not sure what valve, i paid for diagnostics so i don't know exact error.

Is turbo solenoid problem, or actuator, or something else? What is common problem for 2.0 HDI and this issue?

We need more info, did they not provide the codes if you paid for a diagnosis. It could be turbo actuator solenoid valve or one of the doser valves amongst other things

No problem
I did take the boost selenoids apart (the brown things) to clean them before I found my problem. They have a little sponge filter ring inside.
But both where In good condition and it was probably a waste of time.

You might want to take photos and mark the pipes with coloured tape before you start pulling them off.
can get a bit confusing to put them back in the right order

I tried few days ago to clear it and its fell apart under water, so i now dont have sponge at all :/
Plus, i broke valve pipe 😭

I dont think the sponge filter is super important as mine were pretty clean. so you could probably use it to get you to a breakers yard.

and a used replacment wouldnt cost too much

"Plus, i broke valve pipe "

you broke a valve pipe? or did you find a broken valve pipe?

No, i broke it, i tried to get valve filter where sponge is from wrong direction and i pull it hard and its broke, but i return filter, car works same as before. Probably i will buy solenoid

Im guessing you have a split in the rubber connector? I cant tell from the photo
They just pull off so you can replace that with another peice of pipe

Not all cars use a solid plastic hose with rubber elbow connectors for the vacume line

You could replace the full length of pipe with a new rubber one that would probably do a better job

"I THINK" its 0.5mm internal diamiter

The solenoid valve connectors are colour coded Turbo Grey Plug, EGR Blue Plug and Black for Doser valves.
The hoses should be colour coded one hose should have a white strip/dot which goes to the valve connector with the dot by it.

If I remember correctly the "top" (domed end) connector is vacuum feed and the lower one feed to EGR, Turbo etc

Thanks, main mistake was that i broke Y switch so i bought another with 2 new hoses, one from turbo i connect to Y and i see that it goes to something else, it will be very helpful that you provide me photo of line from solenoid that goes to turbo, this from vacuum pump to solenoid is good.
