2014 1.6 HDI Partner - fault codes on ignition

A couple of months ago I had a faulty injector replaced. Ever since then I have had the engine light coming on intermittently.

To begin with the fault code was just P0100 Air Flow Measure which would come on occasionally when driving.

Now I'm finding that the engine does not ignite on first attempt in the morning. It turns over but does not start at first. Then after about 30 seconds it will start. This generates a batch of fault codes, all of them intermittent.

P2425:ControloftheBypassoftheEGRexchanger.

Faultcharacterisationpencircuitstatus.:intermittent.

P0030:Oxygensensorheating.

Faultcharacterisationpencircuitstatus.:intermittent.

P0100:Airflowmeasure.

Faultcharacterisation:Quantityofairgreaterthantheminimumthresholdstatus.:intermittent.

P050B:Startingmonitoring.

Faultcharacterisation:startingtimetoolongstatus.:intermittent.

P1694:controlledenginestartandstop.

Faultcharacterisation:Faultonthestartermotorcontrollinestatus.:intermittent.

P0245:TBTCommandeduturbocompresseur

Faultcharacterisation:Shortcircuittoearthstatus.:intermittent.

P2426:ControloftheBypassoftheEGRexchanger.

Faultcharacterisation:Shortcircuittoearthstatus.:intermittent.

P0003:Controlofthefuelflowregulator.

Faultcharacterisation:Shortcircuittoearthstatus.:intermittent.

P0001:Controlofthefuelflowregulator.

Faultcharacterisationpencircuitstatus.:intermittent.

P2291:Startingmonitoring.

Faultcharacterisation:Theriseinpressureintheinjectionrailistooslowonstartingstatus.:intermittent.

So far I have cleaned the mass airflow sensor and put in a new battery. Neither the local mechanic or the main dealer have been able to sort this out.

Any suggestions would be most gratefully accepted.

assuming not origin series, as they stopped in 2011.

Lexia lists the VIN number when connecting and asks you to verify it.

If it is HLO - I don't have information on this vehicle. Can you get the ECU make form Lexia, and see if you can use this to get more information about the DTC codes and what they mean to check. Otherwise, just giving what you already know from Lexia and that is where start looking.

EGR ones may be related to learning off top of my head, had similar DTC on my engine recently. That I went around in circles with, till I tried monitoring which to my surprise had learning in Lexia and boom, no more error. Tried pack repair and initialisation of these things, but never bothered to go into monitoring functions, was presented with learning, let it go, engine off but turned to 'on' till completed 'a screen of learning' after clearing the DTC. Was not specifically the DTC you have listed P2126 'Performance E' with accelerator pedal / air doser... but was actually the EGR bypass learning been never run or lost.

Thanks again.

I have attached the report from Lexia fault scan. Is that any help? The ECU is HDI_SID807_BR2 .

As you will see there are 12 faults but originally the only fault was P0100 : Air flow measure. Characterisation : Quantity of air greater than the minimum threshold.

All the other faults have appeared later. I cleared all of them a few days ago and they have not returned again but I'm sure they will.

It's a 9HL

PEUGEOT Partner (B9) 1.6 HDiF 112 DV6CTED (9HL) 2010 - Onwards

Haynes Pro describes this as Bosch ECU (might be worth checking - physically on the side of the ECU, since the report says differently and not trying to pick a fight over it, just get you the right information and not sure who is correct at this point in time, the diagnostics clearly saying something else to Haynes, but the report itself seems like might be from an older version than the vehicle, I noticed a lot of the equipment modules itself was missing responses but no DTC around canbus or BSI which in itself is curious to me, I can see 7.02 diagbox was in use, which had release date 2013'ish which might explain the information issue in diagbox.

Checked the Peugeot wiring diagrams, unfortunately its oldest format not much help for what ECU they have put in it, and we're bordering the line of its usefulness (the copy I have is Dec 2013), this model has holes in that information, which noticed when searching around.

So running with Hayne's information on this one till proved otherwise, and won't matter till we hit wiring, most likely. Also going to need to find something with this ECU if it turns out the information is correct in the report.

It shows hits on nearly every code, you will need to be able to use multimeter to work through this. We could have a big issue if the ECU is different, so need to make sure.

Can I clarify, are using Lexia / Diagbox yourself, if so, can you download VM version and use that ?

Thanks for going to so must trouble for me. I'm a complete newbie so at lot of it is above my head. I will share your thoughts with my mechanic.

I currently use Diagbox as a VM on Virtuallbox.
