Hi everyone.

I'm currently trying to install a TDI Tuning box that requires locating 2 sensors: fuel & boost. I've found the fuel but I can't work out which one is boost.

The instructions show a completely different engine and points to the back left and just says "located on the inlet manifold down the front of the engine", which is ironic when they point to the back!!!

Any help in locating which sensor I need to pull out will be much appreciated. I obviously don't want to go and pull out the wrong one!

Thank you in advance

Looks like the throttle body top left and there is a sensor behind (red arrow, see attached) but it doesn't fit the connector, way too big.

The air box is bottom right but doesn't appear to have any sensors connected.

I wondered about the sensors (yellow & green arrows) but I believe the yellow arrow is MAF sensor? Not sure about green arrow??

Google has been about as useful as a mankini in a monsoon at providing me with what I'm looking for!!! Found anything but!!!

Airbox (with airfilter in it) is at back of the engine bay what you have highlighted in intake resonator.

Yellow arrow looks like air temp sensor/MAF

Green is purge valve and red is the connector for the throttle body.

As shown in other thread it is most likely under the airbox

Aaahh ok. So (as above) red circle is resonator and as I understand it, blue circle is turbo, purple circle is silencer and green circle airbox and filter?

Blue arrows are air flow in and yellow arrows turbo charged flow upto the throttle body.

So if the boost sensor is measuring boost pressure then logically it must be located after the turbo, not before right? So on the left of the engine not right?

It's just the airbox only has the MAF/air temp sensor on and nothing else and that's before the turbo.

Instructions say top left on the manifold, so would you say that the manifold is buried under the airbox and the sensor for it is somewhere top left?
