Hi everyone i am using 5w30 total quartz ineo ecs oil for my 2016 partner tepee 92hp euro5 9HP car. I'm thinking of using a different brand of engine oil. I have in mind the liqui moly TOPTEC 4300 5w-30. I wonder how your comments, your ideas are for this oil. What other advice do you have, thank you.

The 9HP engine is designed with either 5W30 or 0W30 in mind.

5W30: PSA B71 2290
0W30: PSA B71 2312

If you are outside of Europe with high or extremely high operating temperatures and/or poor quality fuel PSA recommends.

5W30: PSA B71 2297

Total Quartz Ineo HTC 5W30 is a C3 SN oil that meets both 2290 and 2297.
LM TT 4200 5W30 is a pretty similar oil that does not meet 2290 or 2297.

Total Quartz Ineo ECS 5W30 and LM TT 4300 5W30 are C2 oils that meet 2290 but not 2297.

Where I live, the fuel quality is low compared to Europe. What is the difference between total quartz ecs and htc and do you think toptec 4300 is a better quality oil than total? (currently the service uses 5w30 ecs in my vehicle)

I guess PSA has a reason for recommending the HTC over the ECS outside of Europe.

The HTC propably gives better "real life" protection over the ECS, but the ECS might be necessary for PSA to conform with EU "green" legislation. But that is just me guessing.

The HTC is a C3 SN oil with an additive package formulated in accordance with PSA B71 2297.

A similar, or better, alternative would be the Mobil1 ESP 5W30 which has more approvements than most other 5W30 oils.

Depending on the driver, brake pads have wildly varied lifespans. Only the front pads were replaced after 55k miles; the rear pads are still in place.
However, you fail to add that the price will also vary depending on the type of car.
Regarding front pads and discs, Halfords quoted me about ÂŁ350. For less than ÂŁ150, I completed the task myself.

Your post does not make it obvious to me exactly what "fixed price guide" you mean. However, in general, auto dealerships are separate companies with the ability to choose their own service and parts costs. To assist dealerships and clients with cost estimates, certain manufacturers-Peugeot, for example-do offer suggested retail pricing or "fixed price" lists for specific services and repairs.
