I have a 2015 508 2.0 BlueHDI the stop start is non functional and I get an Engine Stop warning on startup.

Diagbox can communicate with the S/S ECU and gives the following error U1134 87 “LIN no communication with the voltage stabiliser”

Its had a replacement (second hand) Stop Start ECU and gives exactly the same error. The replacement ECU is from the same model and all part and software version codes match.

Diagbox cannot initialise the S/S ECU either.

Can anyone supply the relevant wiring diagrams or suggestions of what to check. The garage says they’ve checked the wiring and it’s all good, but I have doubts that they may have missed it.

The independent I’ve been using has been great, but resorted to getting our local main dealer to take a look, they’ve charged £500 for labour but also have no suggestions.

Thanks for the reply Andrew, the vehicle had a new AGM battery about a year ago, my mechanic assures me it's been fully charged, and Diagbox is showing the battery as Healthy with >80% capacity remaining, which I believe is sufficient for the stop start to work.

Not an expert by a long way but my guess would be battery voltage too low. My car has just done a 3000 mile round trip to France-Spain-France-Belgium-France and back to the UK, the SS started to work only after it landed back at Folkestone! It hadn’t worked in 6 months previously after only short journeys.
