After 10,000 miles and 1 year.

Ad blue - warning at 7000(?) miles, I foolishly bought 3.5 litres (£5) thinking that would be enough. Warning was still on the dash until I put in nearly 10 more litres (£7 from eurocarparts).
Fuel - average over the 10k miles is 44 miles per gallon, which seems as expected to me.
1st Annual service was £180 including pickup/return and washing it.
Tyres - non yet, during the service they said it has 4.5mm on the front and 5.5mm on the back, I'm hoping still have legal tyres in another 12 months, not looking promising though. I think if I swap the rears and fronts it may work. It has Michelin Primacy 225/55R18 98V on, which can be £140 each fitted.

Running costs (fuel, tax, servicing) are about £90 less per month than my last car.
I'm leasing it and I would happily buy it at the end in 12 months, but looking at the prices it will be too expensive for me.

Now I'm off to get some Lenor Unstoppables...

Update

8 Months / 5,200 miles later. (Total 20 months / 15,200 miles)

Fuel - Average since the last service has been 42.7 MPG, reduced because of more spirited driving I think.
Tyres - Rears still look new to me. Fronts still have 4mm left, but as it has to be returned with legal tyres in January and I'm going on holiday in it, I've decided to put some on now. I've had 2 x 225/55r18 98v Uniroyal fr rainsport 3 suv 71ca fitted for £192 from Justtyres.
From reading reviews it sounds like these will wear quickly but will grip well in wet conditions. I've kept the Michelin Primacys in case I get a puncture.

For the air freshener I did get some Lenor Unstoppables, but it is very subtle. Spraying some of my favourite eau de parfum in one of the chambers works well enough and is much easier.

 Yes, I shouldn't have called this thread 5008's annual costs, it should be called 'Some 5008 costs'

Lease costs:-
Initial £191 x 9 = £1719
Arrangement Fee = £180
23 Months x £191 = £4393
Total for enjoying a car for 2 years = £6292
Monthly Amortised = £262

And Insurance - £262 per year (comprehensive, £250 excess (compulsory+voluntary), NCD protected, motor legal protection, guaranteed hire car)

These figures can be worked out by yourself before getting the car by getting a range of quotes.

After 2 years the car has gone back, so here is a roundup of costs.

Total Lease (PCH) £ 6,112.00
Lease Arrangement Fee £ 180.00
2 x Tyres £ 192.00
Tyres Refit £ 25.00
Ad Blu (10L + 3.5L) £ 12.00
1 Service £ 180.00
Car tax (included in the lease) £ -
Year 1 Fuel 44 MPG (£1.25 per L) - calculated not recorded £ 1,291.50
Year 2 Fuel 42.7 MPG (£1.25 per L) - calculated not recorded £ 1,330.82
24 Month Total £ 9,323.32

I had hit a kerb hard so one of the new tyres had a bulge so had to be replaced. Luckily I had kept the original tyres so had them refitted.
It didn't need any more AdBlu.
MPG continued to be 42.7.
Insurance is around £262 per year, but varies from one person to another.

Thanks for the great report!!!
I also have the same engine and I am getting the same mileage as you are. Motorway driving is hurting the fuel economy the most. I am getting 7l/100km (40mpg) average on motorway, doing 130kmh. Compared to around 5l/100km (55mpg) when driving on local roads with average speeds 80-100kmh.
This engine needs just a few more horses and torques in the 2300-2500 rev range, and it would do much better on motoway.
