Trying to find the reversing wire in the rear cluster but have no idea.
I don't have a tester so if anyone can help with colour or a diagram you would be saving me a massive headache

Model/year/body style would help....then I will 'move' it to the correct forum for relevant answers...

The partner has heap of variations in body styles, engines and transmissions. You also don't tell us why you're trying to even find it.

This wire isn't hard to determine, but without understanding why you're after it, here are some suggestions.

Perhaps a complex way is to open the area where the reverse light is, and take note of the wiring colour, and then attempt to trace / find it in the front cluster. If taking this approach, I would attach a multimeter and probe the corresponding colour wires in the front looms to find it again.

Another way is to find the reverse sensor on the transmission or for either of the above, simply just run new wire you spliced into the system before it disappears into the wiring looms. If for example, this was for reversing camera, they normally have a red wire that is integrated with the video cable for splicing into the rear reverse light on the positive side, and you have to run video cable back anyway so just splice it in the existing reverse light.

If you provide additional information, I can look up the wiring looms and give you general where to find it, but not even sure why you're trying to find it or if going about this the right way.

Hope you find this helpful.

what the wire colour was in the end?
That will not help, Peugeot don't use wire colours exclusively except earth and power. Pin numbers are the best bet, and even these change variation to variation.

Use a multimeter, you after the positive wire for reverse (on the lamp) to connect to the red wire in the video feed (trigger). If not feasible to do this, ie the tail lamps are not near the camera mount or routing is near impossible, once you find the wire colour, pick it up at the BSI, running the trigger separate to video feed. Double check with multimeter you have the right one - ie positive and only works with reverse selected.

Just be aware colour may not help, there may be interconnect where the colour changes before enters the BSI.

Need the Engine Designation Code – this is not enough to know what you have.

I don't know what the engine des code is, as the Van service manual did not come with it. Where might I be able to find this?
