Hi
I have not solved yet the problem. The bill is 2.5 kEuro if compressor has to be changed.
I also have the same question concerning involvement of AC compressor in the battery thermal management system. I afraid it is the case. So, the problem should be fixed asap.
My Aircon failed too. Just out of warranty. Although it was making loud clicks within warrenty which I questioned... Go figure.

Main dealer replacement is ÂŁ2.1k

Also I got that update too but I had software issues which happened after. Got stranded for a day in my parking spot as it would not go into drive or reverse.

I have just been told that Peugeot have told their dealerships that there is an issue with this recall which is an entire software reboot. Some cars are not working afterwards. The dealer I spoke to booked me in for mid Sept as he wants to know it works before doing it.

I would recommend that you have the update asap as my e-rifter with only 400 miles on the clock, had a complete electric traction fault rendering the car unmovable, apparently this update has rectified the problem, so don't wait for it to happen to you.

I got a letter from Peugeot UK just yesterday. I phoned my local dealer and got it booked in - but the soonest date was 16 October! The lady said that a) they are super busy with this recall (and another one) and b) that they have to allocate a whole day for the software update because they've been "having trouble" downloading the software from Peugeot and uploading it to cars. Doesn't fill me with confidence! Especially when the letter was headed URGENT SAFETY RECALL. I have a 21-reg e-208.

Could be, I believe a failed compressor would display the same message before the update. Although the fault you are referring to was more common with the early electric models that had problems with the onboard charger.

Oh how sad :( I'm glad that I got the recall update before anything broke.
I got the recall done on my e-2008 and the air conditioning failed 2 months AFTER the recall was carried out. No eta on the part, no loaner as the car was a couple of months out of warranty and Peugeot want me to pay for the repair that the update failed to cure. The car ran perfectly before the recall.
Currently pursuing Peugeot to pay for the repair (if it ever happens).

My new compressor was fitted with additional updates.

No more clicking noises and cold air!

Total cost out of warranty would be ÂŁ2500, lol.

No issues with more errors.
Hi, just wondering if you were within warranty when yours was fixed, or if it was a 'Good will' gesture? Mine is out of warranty now but having clicking noises and no cold air

Thank you
