Hi.After replacement valve cover, the error p2279 appeared. Since then the fans turn on by themselves and do not turn off even when I turn off the car. Can I help you pay attention to something? The car running nice and smooth,no leak of power.

yes,oil cap is new with valve cover. No leak on all intake pipes and all pipe is fitted correctly.Tested with a smoke machine. No leak,no smoke appeared anywhere:eek:  .Blower Heater Resistor Fan Motor Rheostat is new, before replacement valve cover everything is worked perfectly.

The radiator fan is most likely on due to the DTC, the ECU goes into failsafe mode. Don't throw parts at the car without confirming what the root cause is.

If you've confirmed the DTC is current (not pending or historic) and you've driven it a bit but it still doesn't move to pending, you've got a leak somewhere. Are all the breather pipes tight?

Yes,all breathers pipes is tight.Btw,what is DTC?I really respect your support and help, thank you very much, but I already feel exhausted, there is nothing I have not checked anymore. đź’Ż% there is no leak anywhere in the engine.(y)

hello guys, I'm in this trouble for a long time. Last Friday I was in Peugeot Bulgaria and they told me that I have to buy a new part V763335580, replacing the existing /air hose - snelkoopelnig/ because of the valve cover modification. I've deleted the errors and still have the problem. But here is what I have found: One solution with adding a new diafragma:
I think this is the solution, As there is a missing diafragma in the new Valve cover, we can add this diafragma to do the same as old one.
Good luck, I'll keep you in touch.

Hello guys. As I have tried V763335580 I can say that it is not the part needed.
The one I have finally bought is:
94205

And it works.
To be sure, you can inhale with mouth form the opening of the small hose.
If it closes you will feel no air going, then everything is good.
If the air goes easy, then it is not your part.
If I'm not clear enough feel free to ask.
Good luck.

I have the same problem as you have After replacement valve cover, the error p2279 appeared.
The P2279 I have is a Pending error the fan will continue running .
And the motor temperature will be low between 70C and 90C.
And if I do not clear the pending error it will become a real error (emission error)
What did you do in the 9.5 mm hole on back end of the coffer? That has the RED teat, what will not fit if put on the Car.
Did you plug this? or did you leave this open.
I have also tried the 0361S4 Delete PCV but did not help.
I needed to replace the Turbo intake tube as the connection to the cover is different ( there are two different versions )
Is there a way to disable the P2279 Error ?

@Emile_NL Hello,
For sure you have to replace the hose and it needs to have a valve. That is the best. If you succeed in disabling the error, you may get into trouble.
There is another solution that you can just buy the valve an insert it in the hose. Check aliexpress. The part number is 9812171780
Good luck!

HI , Have the part number is 9812171780 one way valve in place .
But looking to the
video of a mini THP valve cover replacement. I am missing a part that will plug the hole in the back of the coffer. So I will need to plug that hole.
and see what that will do.
