as far as i know you need the proper interface...i may be wrong but i dont think planet works with anything but...and as for buying peugeot planet software well thats just a scam as you can download it free right here http://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/general-discussion-2/file-server-automotive-software-16155/ which happens to be in the forum you posted this thread. ....:thumb:

 

If you have to buy the interface cables its not worth downloading the free PP software as every interface cable set I have seen for sale comes with software.

i got the elm 323 think it was to work on my 2000 model 306 hdi, would not work on my 307 hdi 02 model nor the 327 or 329, got my pp2000 for around £90 seems a lot but well worth it budd

Yeh I have specific software for quite a few makes of car, Vauxhall, VAG cars, BMW, Merc & a couple of others but don't have anything specific for Pug/Cit. I do have Autocom which covers a hell of a lot of vehicles but as it's diagnostic software it doesn't do as much as sepcific software does!

The guy I bought PP from has since stopped replying to me! If you can get the software for free on here i'm hoing that the guy selling it on ebay isn't on the forum as well, cos that would just make him a total t**t!

 

You need the Lexia3 leads , software free on here and that guy must be a T**T:thumb:

Betty Swallocks sells them. I bought one from him. It arrived sooner than expected and works a treat. Already saved myself the price I paid by being able to turn on the Trip computer and Cruise Control when I bought my 307

 

The software is available everywhere and is usually just a copied CD so essentially worth nothing more than the cost of media and postage.

If you've paid any more than £2 you've been scammed.

 

£2! add a 0 on to that & that's what I paid. The seller had it on for £9.99 starting bid & i kept getting outbid so emailed him to see if he's do me a BIN price! So piad £20

Pp 2000 software

Hi every body I 'm a now owner of pug 307 restyle I am desperately in need of a free Peugeot Planet 2000 software to install on my laptop from members please.

 

You do have the rest of the equipment, right? Planet is useless without.

 

Thanks for your concern elder. Yes I do have the rest of the equipment, and I got the PP2000 YESTERDAY from a friend I even did the scan. What i needed now is my access code because I cannot finish the repairs on my PUG as the BSi cannot communicate with the engine ECU on till I verify, and the verification is done with the access code. can you help pls?

 

What access code? Planet sometimes asks for a build code, you can find that on the driver's door pillar. If the sticker is missing you can get the code from Servicebox.

 

Planet asks for a build code which is 4 digits. The dialog that asks for this code diplays an image showing where the code is and which 4 digits it requires. Other times it asks for an access code is when you select an option to connect to the Peugeot servers which is only possible if you are a dealer.

It could be that you haven't activated (read registered) the software.

 

I have the build code, which is a 12 digit number and according to what i learnt the access code is a 4 digit found on a scratch card similar to an ATM CARD

 

The build code is a four digit code as is the transponder code.

I'm far from being a planet expert but the only thing I've seen that wants that code is for programming keys.

If you fully explain where you are in planet when you get this problem you might get a definitive answer instead of everyone trying to guess what the program is asking for - we're not mind readers.
