Hello everyone!

I really need some help here. In May this year my husband and I purchased a Peugeot 3008 hybrid 4 (model 2020) in Sweden. Last Sunday when we were driving there was a warning randomly appeared on the dashboard: “Electric traction system fault: repair the vehicle”. The electric engine is still working. Anyone experienced the same problem? Is there anything I can do besides contacting the service? The car is so new and quite expensive (for us), how can it have problems so soon?
Many thanks in advance!
Sounds very similar to mine 3008 PHEV 4x4 GT 300 ,been driving fine no fault then all of a sudden started saying electronic traction system fault lost drive to the rear motor but still driving and then the next day it wouldn’t go in drive at all even struggled to even get it into neutral.
I checked the voltage of both 12 V batteries and all good did a code scan and it came up loads of different miscellaneous codes, tried clearing them but they just came back on and still no change so It’s on its way back to the main dealer now where it’s not long had a traction battery recall done, has anybody else had this fault after having a battery recall done? My car is a 2020

My car is 2022. I've not had it long, but no had a problem yet... fingers crossed!

Let us know how you get on and what it was.

It was a manufacture recall , no faults with the vehicle before the recall

Peugeot are now saying it needs a new 12 V accessory battery which is £252 , then five hours of diagnostics, they think the high voltage cable may have worn through.
