We used to have a VW gte but we like this Peugeot more because it’s more quiet and the ride is smooth. I had always wanted a bigger car than the VW GTE, that’s why my husband and I purchased a crossover from Peugeot. Do you know that we may not get the money from the government when we purchase hybrid/electrical cars because they have run out of the money?

okay had myself a vw tiguan before. but bought a Peugeot because it was cheaper than a new Tiguan. I rent my car so I got a fixed price and then the rental company gets the money from the government. and I heard that the state would possibly add SEK 400,000 for more people to receive the bonus.

Have you updated your navigation device map and application?
I have received links and downloaded everything and do according to the instructions but only manage to update the map, not the program

That sek 400m is not a sure thing. The only sure thing is “the money has been all spent”. I guess too many bought Tesla this year so that money was gone too fast :(. We wanted to buy a hybrid crossover/hybrid VW but there was no such thing so we bought a Peugeot instead. I agree with you that it’s cheaper than WV and it has a lot of technology for what we pay for. Is the update new/recent? I’ll check it out.

I bought it from JBil in Valingby (I believe). My husband brought the car to a Peugeot certified car shop and they fixed it (changed the battery) for free. Now it’s ok. No problem anymore.
Hi, which battery did they change? The front one or the rear one in the trunk?
On the sister forums of Grandland X we have many users with the same issue, as well as car sometimes starting in Hybrid mode instead of electric.

hi then it was time again for a visit for repair again.
The car only runs in hybrid, even if all batteries are fully charged. has also started to jerk when braking down to a standstill.
runs in Sweden with plastic lids for the radiator. NOTE begins to wonder if the car is even built for Nordic countries

My Hybrid 4 has thrown the same problem "electric traction fault" and then if I turned the engine off it wouldn't start again. Sometimes it wouldn't actually stop? What is wrong with these cars!! Did you get to the bottom of the issue? Thanks

hi 5 weeks ago I had the electric traction system fault come up on my 3008 hydrid4 dash, just as I was pulling into a station to fill up. I switched off and filled up, hopping it would clear when I started up, no hope the car would not start at all, and worst of it was, as it was in park mode, I couldn’t even push it away from the pump, as couldn’t select neutral.
The car was left there all night, stuck at the pump and recovered the next day to my local dealer, where it has been for the last 5 weeks as I said, only update I get is it’s with Peugeot technica, so obviously they don’t know what’s wrong with.
worst thing is, Peugeot have agreed to change this car, due to other issues, but because of the chip shortage I’m still waiting for a replacement.

Hi,

Some times I have had to power the car on multiple times to get the READY-mode. This has been without the fault text.

I have also had the "electric traction system fault " issue 2 times. With both cases, after about 15 minutes the car cleared itself and started to work normally.

After the second case my car was towed to the dealer and they found out that the traction battery control box is not working always as it should. A new control box was order. It took 8 weeks to get the spare part. While waiting for the spare part there were no issues and I was able to drive normally.

I was told that this part is quite expensive (about 6000€ of course under warranty). The part number was changed, so it is a new model.

hi,
had a update from my dealer, they have the car running, however they have requested that Peugeot technical speak to their master technician about the traction system as they are not confident that it will not happen again.

Sorry meant to give a update to this, as Peugeot had already agreed to swop my car over due charging problem, I never actually got it back. I received my replacement hybrid4 on the 3rd Dec, after waiting nearly 6 months due to chip shortage.

I have a UK Peugeot 3008 hybrid, with a fault, "Electric traction system fault" the dealer advised today this was a battery fault and because the car was over 6 months old (less than 3 years) it was not covered by the guarantee. I find this incredible... a car 15 months old with only as many miles on and I'm now being asked to pay £325 for a new battery! Has any one else experienced similar.

I got the same error that happened to me 3 months ago while driving. It took Peugeot over a month to diagnose, but ultimately they ran a huge test suite and replaced the DC/DC converter module (I can check the part number if anyone would like it). In my case, it's been replaced under warranty.

Same fault message appeared today on my 3008 hyb4 gt, just over 2 months old. Will only start in sport mode. Will contact dealer tomorrow.

Yes, they replaced the 13.2kWh battery under warranty. Anyway, I shall say I'm very unhappy with the overall efficiency with the hybrid4 platform and would not recommend. For the first month I got approx 38 miles range in electric mode. This dropped to 22-27 miles as temperature dropped under 15degC. I'm still waiting to see the range going back to >35miles. Will soon contact dealer. This is a very inefficient platform. The vehicle is heavy and with such a little range from the battery I essentially spend more money on the car energy refill (petrol and electric) than I do on my other petrol car. What's the point of going hybrid if it is bad for the wallet and for the net footprint on CO2???

Hello everyone!

I really need some help here. In May this year my husband and I purchased a Peugeot 3008 hybrid 4 (model 2020) in Sweden. Last Sunday when we were driving there was a warning randomly appeared on the dashboard: “Electric traction system fault: repair the vehicle”. The electric engine is still working. Anyone experienced the same problem? Is there anything I can do besides contacting the service? The car is so new and quite expensive (for us), how can it have problems so soon?
Many thanks in advance!

Hi - I have the same problem at the moment - on a 2022 Hybrid 4 3008 . It’s the second time this has come up - and it’s all battery related . The car is currently not working on electric - and it all stacks up as a battery fault . The messages the car gives you are very misleading . Essentially the 2 batteries don’t charge properly if you use Electric a lot - as we do .
to be honest - this is the worst car o have ever owned … and it’s having yet another trip to the dealer !!!

Hi
I've been told the same and quoted £3500 + VAT. Did this solve your problem? Thanks.
