My 2018 Peugeot 3008 has intermittent faults, sometimes the mirrors won’t fold out, the car won’t start after pressing all the buttons and key fob eventually the car starts. Connecting the tester it shows several fault codes, now all cleared but intermittent problem keeps reoccurring. Now getting a red spanner with electrical fault warning. Is it safe to drive until I can book it in to the dealer to get fixed. What could be causing it ECU or BPGA?

It's not the ECU issue. That is engine control module, it either works or does not at all, not known for being anything in-between. They are one of the most robust pieces of equipment in the vehicle.

Battery or BPGA seems likely.

My reply might be a bit late to help you, but hopefully it can help someone else.

I had the exact same issue with my 2017 Peugeot 3008, and after a while I could not get the vehicle to start any more. I could not tow it due to the electric handbrake and stop/start system locking the steering, but fortunately the vehicle was parked at home prior to complete failure.

I ordered and replaced the BPGA unit myself, which is a pretty simple job, and all the electrics are now working perfectly once again... no errors etc. also no reset required.

Doing it myself saved me a lot of money. There are videos on exactly how to do it.
