Hi, i've just ordered the new 208 and was wondering roughly how long it takes to be delivered, Robins and Day have told me it will be a factory build.

TIA

I think the panoramic roof is not worth it. I’ve had it on 307 SW, 407 SW, 508 SW x 3 and most of the time it was covered up. I don’t miss it in my new 508 and have just ordered a new 208 without it. Go back and negotiate a discount for the one they have in a field.

i'm not the most fussed by it, it's more my girlfriend who wanted it as she's going to be the passenger for the majority of the time if not all the time, i'd get the 130 but it was over £2k for my insurance so i decided against it cost wise.

I disagree here. I had a TomTom portable one before my first 508 and though it was great. Bought a map and took it on holiday to the USA twice and was impressed. 508 (1) 2013 had WIP nav, now that was crap. Had to play my face at Peugeot to get a free upgrade to include postcode search. 508(2) 2016 was SMEG nav, better than WIP, but no as good as old Tom. Now 508(3) 2019 is a pleasure to use with 3 year traffic subscription thrown in. As it was an ex-demo car it also had a 1 year subscription to speed cameras which ran out last month. I have renewed it now for another year, somewhat expensive at £69 per year though I must admit. I also use the ‘mypeugeot’ app on my phone to capture journey and mpg information and handle the digital subscriptions. This app if free, not like the Mercedes ‘mercedesme’ app which costs an arm and a leg. Each to his own I guess.

You can disagree all you want. I know that I lost an hour of the trip because TomTom lead me to unpaved road and I had to double back.

And this built-in nav solution is inferior anyway. Google maps or Waze are a lot better especially in combination with Android Auto.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion my friend. To be honest all satnav’s have their quirks and are never 100%, but think how complex the mapping software has to be to get it right most of the time (and I say this after being a computer engineer for over 40 years). Now I can get lost with the confidence of getting back on track relatively easily. I have to confess though that I am getting worse at navigating without one these days though.

Hi folks! Seems that you are getting your 208's pretty fast. I have just decided to buy one - it will be my first car (new job requires me to have one).
I decided to go with 75 Active (plus some exstras) and am waiting for follow up from dealer. Hope to sort everything out and that it will arrive fast. It would be mayor PITA if I have to wait 2 months for it.

But,the is something that I don't like. I really really wnated blue one, but that colour is not available with Active, so I opted for white one. :/
