Yes, finally I have tested it and very impressed with it . I thought it would be cumbersome and time consuming to get it running but it turned out to be a different story to tell . Well, all you have to press one of the piano buttons on the console ,select Park Assist and where to park and follow the instructions . Once the car finds a proper park spot it warns you . Then ,just follow the instructions ,just simple things to do . For every step the screen ticks the boxes to confirm you have completed the each instruction .Once all done, all you have to is jus to hold down the button on the gear selector .
I have noticed one thing during parking process , the car goes backwards towards the car behind more than I would do and then moves forward more than I would do to complete the parking process but that's OK . I was kinda nervous during all those activities going but was nice too
I have not timed my parking time but Peugeot 508 II GT's parking speed is better than I expected .
I have also tested getting out of the parking space and it's a fool proof and very neat as well

That sounds encouraging. I have never had that feature and have not wanted it, but it’s good to know it works. When you talk about leaving the parking place are you saying it is also automated at the touch of a button too?

Yes, the car can leave the parking space on its own however you have to follow simple steps that can be seen on the display ,all you have to do is to hold down the rectangular button on the gear selector .

I've always thought that it would be slow and cumbersome. I haven't driven a car with it myself and it's one of those features that's never appealed to me. I think I'd have to experience it myself to be convinced that it's worth having, it would need to be at least as quick as me to be useful I think.

Have this feature and have tried it twice but gave up due to it being too slow a process especially if there are other cars behind you. The time it takes is quite frankly embarrassing compared to parking manually. I can reverse park into a space before the car decides what it's doing so I see it as more of a gimmick if I'm being honest.
