Not possible to start car and lock it with second key?

I tried this the other morning. Started the car, closed door and tried to lock it with a second key-fob I have. However no response to that.

I wanted to let it run for a while so the windscreen would be clear by the time I was ready to drive.

Is it not supposed to be possible, or can it somehow be enabled using PP2000 ?

I don't think you can use the buttons to lock it while the other key is in and the engine running.

I do it by just using the key in the door lock.

Ok, my keys somehow don't fit in the door-lock.. But got 3 remote fobs that all works. Fantastic
