I have recently purchased a 2012 Peugeot 308 SW 1.6 THP Allure 5 door Estate and unfortunately Bluetooth doesn't appear on the screen via the menu or source buttons. I can see the "BT Radio" as a device from my phone but am unable to pair to it. Does anyone have any ideas? The radio is an RD45
Thanks,

It is possible that the owner retrofitted the radio. I've done the same with mine, before I got a new display. You need to upgrade both radio and the small display in the car in most cases.
You can also try enabling the BT function on the screen via Diagbox, to see if that helps. There's a map with the locations of people who can do this sort of thing. Take a look and try to contact the closest one. It's just a couple of toggles in the software, takes only a few minutes to do. That is if you don't need to replace the small screen.

Thanks I'm in the north east near Newcastle. Will have a look at the map. I believe Bluetooth should have been standard on that age and spec of car (allure). I have had the radio out and the wiring all looks factory so hopefully it just needs enabled on the screen (i havent taken that out to see if it has a model no, but looking at pictures it looks like an RD4)

Yes, as said before RD4 and RD45 is almost identical. The RD4 has "TA/PTY" button, the RD45 has only "PTY", but the fact that you have BT_RADIO showing on your phone confirms it's an RD45 radio.
The other thing you need is the screen on the last picture. It's called the multifunction display, EMF_C type to be exact. The question if it's EMF_C or EMF_C1. For the BT to work you need the EMF_C1 version. There is a sticker on the back of the screen which tells you everything about it. There's also a SW Version line, and that has to be at least V72.2 I believe for the BT to work. If not, then you need to replace the screen. You can buy them second hand from eBay, some scrapyards might have it too.
If you have a correct screen, then you'll need somebody with Diagbox to enable the settings in the displays menu for the options to show.

There appears to be a menu option missing on your central display where i've marked below. The bluetooth model should have 4 menu tabs, where yours has 3.

What does your front interior light look like? Does it have the big white plastic surround on it? If it doesn't, then its highly likely theres no microphone either.

As an example, my menu's below, I retrofitted the RD45, along with the screen. I also had to add the microphone into the roof-lining because i don't have the white housing where the interior light is (3d printed a holder and cut headlining to fit).

I have a 2011 allure with the RD45 unit, intermittently it looses connection to bluetooth devices, and won't access any AUX inputs...
In my case if I turn off the ignition, count to 10, then re-start, the problem goes away.
have you tried disconnecting the battery for a bit?

Hi John, Yes I've disconnected the battery and actually removed the radio. There isn't actually a bluetooth option via the menu for some reason. All the hardware seems correct so hoping that it can just be reactivated via diagbox. Just waiting for someone to have a look for me. Thanks, Peter

I don't currently have the laptop with me to check the the exact setting you need, but once I get it back, I'll write a step-by-step here on what to change within Diagbox.
If you ever come up to Scotland, just drop me a PM here and I'll see what I can do for you.

Here's the step by step on how to enable the BT connection option on the EMF_C screen. This worked on my car, with a RD45 headunit which replaced the original RD4, and a EMF_C screen which replaced the old EMF_A screen.
