Motorhome on boxer chassis Adblue issues

Hello and apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I am after some help regarding the following please if anyone has had similar ?
I have a Peugot Corinium 2017 2.0 motorhome built on the boxer chassis.
Mileage is 17500 and I purchased it just over a year ago with only 7500 miles on.
We live full time in it and have been travelling for the last 12 months without problems(except the dreaded airbag ECU Fault) but recently I have got the 'check adblue system then 'check engine warnings up when I start the engine which go off but the engine management light stays on.
This happened at the start of a trip from Yorkshire to Scotland but all went back to normal after a couple of hundred miles and stayed all ok for about a week on little trips here and there. The fault reoccurred again and is still on.
I havent had any mileage left countdown warnings and the adblue was filled up just before this all started(few days)
I have read about the issues and the adblue cap recalls but how would I know if mine has had the cap done or indeed had a recall and would the cap fix the issue.
The prices I am seeing for possible new tankard a bit scary!!
Any help, advice or things ican try is appreciated.
I only have a basic code reader which brings up code P20E8 but it won't erase and fear I have a pretty serious problem.
Thank you and apologies for the long explanation.
Andy

Hi Peter, I posted this in March. We are still up on Isle of Skye and the fault persisted for several months, however after I last cleared the fault and doing a couple of hour plus round trips it hasn't come back on! I'm not saying its fixed but when I have cleared it before its come back on after about 5miles. Worth mentioning we are parked up for the majority of times at the moment as we are wardens on a site but like I say when we have ventured out before the fault has always flashed up. All I do is clear it with a cheap diagnostics tool and I am hoping( but doubting) it will stay off for the MOT in October. Good luck and if you get a resolution please let me know Andy
