My wife has bought a '63 208 and I've changed the (filament) DRLs for LED bulbs. I've just noticed that the sidelights aren't working - am I right in saying that the DRL and sidelights are one and the same (i.e. dual function bulbs)? I didn't even think about this, and assumed they were separate bulbs.
Someone suggested that I might have put the bulbs in the wrong way round and blown the sidelight fuses, due to the bulbs drawing 21w instead of 5w. This might also explain why the DRLs seem a little dim (i.e. only drawing 5w instead of 21w).
I haven't tried putting the bulbs in the other way around yet as I wanted to check on here first. Assuming the fuse has been blown, where is ir? I can't see a sidelight fuse listed anywhere in the owner manual!
