p0120 prob vac unit gone duff
no idea on the other one

 

Hi bridplumber,

No I changed the ERG solenoid a few days ago as I had no EGR now the EGR is opening ok looking at the airflow figures in pp.
What is classed as the EGR butterfly, is it the one at the top of the engine just above the Vacuum pump?

 

when i had this problem i had an air leak to the top butterfly, it didn't hold vac, test this by sucking on the pipe and see if it stays open. if not all i did was take the adjustment screw out and fit a small o ring then put the screw back in and havent had the problem since. worth a try :thumb:

You haven't de-particulated yet then?

 

dpf removal been done a while now and all good. just cant be bothered to blank the egr valve while it's still working ok. not been long since the whole lot was removed and cleaned and a oil catch can put in to stop it getting smegged up again.

 

Just changed the EGR butterfly solenoid P0120 seems to have gone fingers crossed.

It normally came straight back after clearing it but went for a 15min drive and still hasn't come back, son has been out in it for most of the afternoon so I'll check it again tomorrow.
