I have a 2018 5008 auto with the same 1.2 puretech engine. I have had to top up the oil since I bought the car last summer even after it was serviced. Over the last few weeks oil consumption has increased drastically. 2 weeks ago had to top up with 650mls of 0w-30 to bring back to full. After 385km since then I have had to top up once again with 800mls of oil. No sign of oil in the tray under the engine or on the ground where I park every night. Had a sunroof seal replaced a few months ago and asked mechanic if the engine normally uses oil. He said it does and was a good idea to check the oil level every few weeks He did not say how much it might use but I'm sure it should be nothing like a litre for around 500kms. Need to book this in to dealer to have checked as I have never used as much oil in any car.

Had the car back to the dealer a few weeks ago. They filled it with oil and said come back at one thousand Kms or when the warning light comes on. It took only 434km for the low oil warning. Paperwork has now to be sent to Peugeot regarding this and will wait patiently for the solution. No update yet from Peugeot. Meanwhile the same afternoon the car had problems with the car spluttering and Stop warning light came on. Towed to garage and now waiting nearly 3 weeks for a new coil pack to be delivered to the dealer as none in stock.

Got notified by the dealer that Peugeot have finally agreed to replace the engine. Told it should take a week to be delivered and then arrange to be booked in. Hopefully more luck with this engine. Thankfully it was still under warranty with full main dealer service history.
