Hello I'm not very adept with cars & now I have a huge problem-for me anyway. This weekend my car lost power while & only goes 30 km/h if it runs. In connection with powerloss the service light went on & said "speed controller faulty". The day after the car ran fine so we went for a drive, when I sped up a little bit the car "jumped" a bit. We went shopping & about 1 km from home a warning sign said: " engine management system faulty". Is there anybody that has encounterd this problem? I don't have a garge time until 2 weeks so I'd be gratefull for any help.

If it came up with the "Speed control faulty" then i'm guessing its an issue with the brake or clutch switch. I've had the issue before where my car would randomly jerk & the break lights would constantly be on making the "engine management system faulty" warning come up. It's down to a dodgy sensor telling the ECU that you're breaking when you actually not, thus activating the warnings.
If you drive at 20+ mph with your foot on the break pedal while accelerating it will bring the "engine management system faulty" warning up.
The reason your car wouldn't go above 30kmh is because it went into limp mode.

That's just what happened to me, but for a definite answer you would have to get your car diagnosed with planet.
