DPF additive too low warning on dash

Hi, I've read many posts about how the fluid is added when refuelling, some say fixed amount no matter how much diesel is put in, but have read it adds 37.5ml per 10ltrs of diesel added.
Does anyone know which is right? I've got 407, 2006, just done 117,000, warning light came on driving away from refuelling.
Bought car when 44,000 and never had fluid topped up or any warning light about DPF before.
Local garage telling me tank is either replaced or refilled, difference in price is ÂŁ300. How do I find out if can just be refilled?
Why would tank need to be replaced?

Thanks for that, I'm assuming mine was Eloys 176 from age of vehicle, 2006.
Will check RPO number. Does this mean it's refillable tank?
I'm surprised warning light only just first appeared, saying level too low at 117,000, additive surely can't be added at fixed dose at each refill? Never had warning light on before about DPF, car regens approx every 300 miles as can hear engine tone change and rear heated windscreen comes on.

The RPO number is 10689 so original fluid would have been Eloys 176, so presumably can be refilled with either Eolys Powerflex or Infineum F7995, according to chart above , expect connector to tank to be green. I take it there is no other alternative.

Rang around local garages today, most don't do it/didn't know, and said dont you 'mean Ad blue' 🤦
Got quote from Peugeot dealer ÂŁ270 to include 3 ltrs, waiting for prices from 2 garages.

Yep, far cheaper DIY, but as mentioned earlier, not doing it myself, so looking to pay to get someone to do it and reset counters. Any suggestions of who to ask in local area (Dudley/Wolverhampton) who can/ will do it much appreciated. As already said, only got one quote from dealer so far, all other garages asked so far don't, or haven't replied with price yet

Thanks for that, wish that was the reason garages have given me. I've only asked garages who have done work for me in past on this car, but when asking them first do you do it, the answer is sorry no, don't do that.
Just waiting to hear back from 2, who have said they can and will do it, they just want to source fluid and price it first
