Peugeot Servicebox lists several 1.6HDi engines but it specifically lists the 1.6HDi 90 as: "1.6HDi 90 particle emission filter". The other 1.6 HDi have different power ratings. However, the 90 relates to metric horsepower (PS) and there are two 1.6HDi engines with 92PS and I am not sure if they have a DPF.

Are you able to get the car's VIN if so PM it to me. I think I can get that basic information from Servicebox without paying for access.

I always thought it was just 110s with DPF. Can you visually inspect?

 

My research also showed 110 have dpf but 90 don’t , unfortunately can’t visiual check as the car is not local , would like to get as much info as I can before travelling

Can you get engine code (digits 6-8 of vin) then check engine spec if euro 5 it wil have al DPF
