Crackling Bluetooth issue

Hi all,

I own a 2013 Peugeot 107 and the Bluetooth has been working fine for months. Yesterday, however, when I played a song through Bluetooth, the speakers started crackling. I thought it was a speaker issue and that I might need to replace the front dash speakers but they work absolutely fine and don’t crackle with the radio.

Does anyone know how to fix this and/or should I get new speakers fitted??

If it's been fine, and is only repeatable when using Bluetooth, try putting your phone in different position.

You mentioned the radio is fine, and the whole system has been working fine prior. This can happen when streaming because your phone has bad 4g/5g connection and have nothing to do with Bluetooth, or could be a sign the Bluetooth module has an issue.

I would not consider the speakers themselves unless repeatable in radio mode as well or have other reason (not mentioned in your above post) to consider them as the possible cause.
