Correct Antifreeze/coolant type for a 2008 1.6HDi engine

Hi folks

Hoping for a bit of help. I'm having my cam belt and water pump replaced next month, and I'm in the process of sourcing all the parts & fluids for the job.

I'm trying to clarify what the correct type of antifreeze/coolant is for the 1.6HDi engine? So far I've had conflicting statements regarding red/orange OAT coolant. I've had both an owners club and some retails say it can't be used, and others that have said it can.

Does anyone here know for certain what I should be buying?

Antifreeze is a personal touch, some prefer red, others blue...the red lasts longer than the blue in age factor.....I guess the answer is any!!

My other half has red and i'm blue, we have the same 2.0 hdi's

Cheers for the reply. If it is compatible, I'd prefer to go with the longer lasting red stuff.

Stikes me as strage I can't find a defacto answer anywhere on compatibility.

DV4 and DV6 should be OAT only

This is the factory fill spec I believe
