Cold draught drivers left leg near Console Tunnel on 3008 Hybrid 4

Hello, I am getting a very cold draft between my left leg and the center console whilst sitting in the drivers seat (UK car). I have a 3008 Hybrid 4. Switching off Air Con seems to improve it but only slightly.

Now the weather has turned colder I notice it, the car was delivered new in April.

Am I doing something wrong or are there any settings I should change.

All advice most welcome.

Checked my 61 reg and the Centre Console does in fact have 3 Holes in the right Hand front corner near the bottom. With the fan on it blows quite cold air.

If you examine the design of the underneith of the Lid to the console it is shaped to allow the air to vent out towards the Dash.

If your Console is full of C??P as I feel sure many are then it is possible that the Holes near the bottom get covered so it would not be noticed.

I Have stuck tape over mine and the draft has gone!

The reason I was looking was because I have recently noticed a slight smell of Diesel in the cab when the heater starts blowing warm and have been trying to trace.
Anyone got any ideas? Main stealer spoken to but have not heard of any probs in that direction and suggest they have the car in to investigate.

Not convenient at present but if it is something simple I could probably sort it!!

Cold draughts

Had a similar "draught" problem on my 3008 but only with the panoramic roof in the open position.
It is worse when wet and at higher motorway speeds!
My theory is - Wind over a wet surface = water evaporates = surface temperature drops = cabin draughts.

Shut the roof, increase the thermal insulation and the draft dissappeared; didnt touch the climate control!!!!!

Be interested to see if anyone else notices the same effect.
