Hi...I use a gunsons ezibleed but here a clip;

 

The Gunsons pressure system is by far the easiest and safest way.

 

Yep for the cost of the 'ezibleed' by gunsons you cant go wrong...one person op as well...

 

keep pressure at the lower side (i used a bike tyre last time) or you may get leaks.
Worth spending a few pounds on a flare nut spanner.

 

Gravity bleeding will work just fine, a pressure bleeder will get the job done faster, but unless you intend doing the same job on more cars soon I suggest you save your money.

All depends on how much time you have on your hands. It will take hours rather than minutes, and you have to keep checking the master cylinder reservoir and topping it up, otherwise you end up in deep dodo. I have also known occasions when gravity just refused to work, which means you have to keep pumping the pedal, and then you need an assistant unless you fit a non return valve at the bleed nipple.

Don't run the engine or leave the ignition switched on while doing it either.

So you must have a larger reservoir fitted somehow.

When I tried it that way it took about half an hour per brake.

 

I simply removed the reservoir cap and cracked open the bleed nipples, you can open them all at once but if you do you need to keep a careful eye on the reservoir.
I've been doing it this way for 40 years now.
