Gravity bleeding will work just fine, a pressure bleeder will get the job done faster, but unless you intend doing the same job on more cars soon I suggest you save your money.

All depends on how much time you have on your hands. It will take hours rather than minutes, and you have to keep checking the master cylinder reservoir and topping it up, otherwise you end up in deep dodo. I have also known occasions when gravity just refused to work, which means you have to keep pumping the pedal, and then you need an assistant unless you fit a non return valve at the bleed nipple.

Don't run the engine or leave the ignition switched on while doing it either.
