Hello people,
I got a problem which is bugging me for months now. And I am getting nowhere. I bought a used Opel Vivaro 2019 (basically a Peugeot Expert) and the fitted SFB battery seemed near its end of life. So I installed a fully loaded AGM and all this ECO mode stuff got better.
But I issues with battery started again.
Soon I realized that the maximum loading voltage is 14.3V going down to 13.9-14.0V on longer distances. As far as I know an AGM would need to see 14.8V now and then, but the max I see is 14.3V.
So I connected to the BECB_GEN2 and luckily diagbox let me into the configuration without internet. I changed the setting from SFB to VRLA/VRLA2 which is the closest to get for AGM. No change in loading volatages.
I read several relating threads in these forums, but I did not find anything exactly to my issue.
The max 14.3V loading volatage - what could this be an indicator for? Some defective BECB?
Any help would be appreciated
regards
Axel

as a follow up .. I coded the BECB with other options too .. for instance "liquid" .. there is absolutedly no change in loading behavior. Too bad all BSI stuff needs internet and token. But even that is no really possible anymore for privates :/
