Adblue Pipe Leaking

Hi,

I bought my Peugeot 2008 (GT LINE BLUE HDI S/S ) 2017, in February 2021. In the past week I had the dreaded dashboard messages informing me of an emissions, engine, Ad Blue issue with a countdown. Took it to my trusted garage who hooked it on to their machine, which said Leak Detected, and Pressure too low. They recommended I take to a Peugeot dealer, which I have. And they have said the Adblue pipe has leaked, and needs replacing - pretty costly to do. It's currently with them now whilst the part is on order. They also said that once they do the repair, it's only then they can see if the pressure builds as it should - if not, there may be an additional issue.

Car was MOT'd and Serviced within past 2 months by Arnold Clark.

I've heard this is a known issue - am I able to do anything about this please?

Ive never heard of a pipe leaking. You must have hit the car bottom to damage it. Usually the injector leaks. I think its a costly repair since the pipeline is heated. However it can not be so expensive as the tank. The leaking pipe could ofcourse be repaired by some diy method for free, but since the car is out of your possession....
