Download patch above , load diagbox then close ,
Save patch to c drive and make shortcut to desktop,
Run patch from desktop and get successful message ,
Open diagbox and go to manual activation ,
Enter 12345678901234567890123456789012
And password scary01
Delete the two x's before entering scary01
Then get back to me

For anyone else reading this with problems activating PP2000 I have found the issue (at least in my case) is that the keygen usage instructions that come on the discs with the clones are a little misleading.

This info has already been mentioned by Betty in previous posts in this thread but I thought I'd make it crystal clear.

For example in my v22.14 disc the instructions read:

This KeyGen is a activation tool for PP2000-21.14 / 2114 / V1.8.2 (same tool for LEXIA3)

1. Custome code: 001

2. Version Number: PP2000-21
*Attention: Please DO NOT iuput Other Version number such as PP2000-21.14, PP2000-V21 !!!!!

3. Input the right identifier of your pc number & Server request code that you get in the PP2000 activetion page

Now reading this you would most likely enter PP2000-21 as the version number in the keygen right?
Well that would cause the keygen not to work giving an error 11 invalid activation error each time.
Similarly if you enter the version that is displayed in the PP2000 activation details page where you see the 'PC number' and 'Server request code' (PP2000-22.14 in my case) it will also not work.

The actual version you need to enter in the keygen is the version displayed on the PP2000 activation page WITHOUT the .XX subversion.
So for me that was PP2000-22

This drove me crazy for almost 2hrs so thought I'd save anyone else the trouble.

Also if you are on Win7 Microsoft has made an 'XP Mode' Virtual machine available for download for free (will check for valid Win activation). This is a self contained WinXP image that runs in MS Virtual PC so it saves messing around with VM's and loading XP - It's all done for you.

Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7

hi fella, im after some help if u can please

ive recently just bought the software and leads to try and diagnose a fault on my pug (software trying to use is diagbox pp2000)

problem is I didn't have any instructions to go with, plus im using a vista laptop

now after installing and following through with it I get stuck at the user id screen and activation key

looking at previous help topics people re saying put in 12345567 and then as password 32 bit long 12345678901234567890123456789012 and then profile of 02fff000.

I'm going to bite the bullet and buy pp2000 of the bay, I was looking at this one but not sure if this is the right version software ect also when I receive pp will I just need the activation code then I'm good to go? I've got a laptop running on xp,after reading this thread it all looks a bit complicated

Yellow light has just gone off (no idea why) and our 202,000 mile 807 is going well but I want to get PP running so I can try to fault diagnose, got as far as no 7 on page 3 of the activation pdf but can't work out how to get the small dialogue PPS 2000 screen up that is on page 5 that allows you to enter the various numbers to generate the code.
Can anyone help this luddite? Thanks.
