A bunch of "open circuit" or "short circuit" faults. Coincidence?

I'm wondering might all these faults be connected?

Note my battery is relatively new.

------------------------------------------

Parking fault, ASP / ESP warnings before start up.

-------------------------------------
Front LH wheel sensor
Code: C1320

Short circuit to posiitive or earth or open circuit
esp81

u1213 intersystems cann
parameters sent in data stream is invalid

P0500
speed info wrong or absent

--------------------------------

Oil gauge fault

rear lh brake lamp (may just be bulb, I'll replace to confirm)

unexpected reinitialisation fault coming from the bsi

front left side light - open circuit - engine fuse box / engine wiring housing

Parking assistance - fbc7 - interior rear left sensor fault

Hands free - short circuit to earth b901 - aerial no. 2 input fault

----------------------------------------------------

Thanks!

DTC P0500 Vehicle speed sensor 1 circuit/open
Testing is all four Wheel Sensors. Looking for more than 1 ohm resistance in each wire back to the ESP/ABS or open circuits back to ESP/ABS (next graphics).

DTC U1213 Communication with the ABS or ESP control unit
unexpected reinitialisation fault coming from the bsi
Probably related to this code.

Not sure oil level sensor - DTC might help

The rest of the faults, need to move to Peugeot wiring diagrams. Which dig into latter tonight.

Thank you so much, fantastic information.

But I still wonder what may be happening in general, or if there is something in general underlying these problems?

Is it likely to be generalised connection corrosion, or some particular bunch of wiring deteriorated, for example?

Have all these faults that developed separately, or is there some common cause, would it appear?

I mean on the surface it might seem I just change the front LH wheel speed sensor and the other components.

But I wonder why is this "open circuit" thing showing up so much.

The car is new to me. I am trying to understand its weaknesses. I heard it can be prone to electrical faults.

I will inspect that ESP control unit next, if I can find it, I assume under the seats.

Thanks again.

Anyway, I'm not sure what's going on.

All these faults have appeared within a few months. When I bought the car the faults were clear. There must be something going on, over and above just normal, individual faults.

Also, a fault which comes up on the dash, but didn't show on Diagbox, unless I missed it, is a "parking brake" fault. Comes up soon after you open the driver's door.

I suspect the diagnosis required with this car may be over and above just analysing the wiring diagrams, helpful as they are.

Well I took a look at the wheel sensor fault for a start. C1320

Found the E11 module eventually (wrapped up very tightly in a cover with buttons and velcro).

Manual advised I check connectivity of the two pins.

Those were right under the E11 module so inaccessible without removing the wheel and arch.

So I think before I get into that, I'll get a replacement sensor just in case, before I get into that.

There is no obvious sign of damage, so I don't know why it might be just the pins. More likely to be the sensor itself?

Anyway thank you @RedSector. Your help on this has been fantastic.

A great introduction into this car for me.

Could be, the sensor will have a connection point to the harness, both wiring down from this connection point and the connection point are worth looking at for damage, it does happen and resistance can go above 1ohm in a wire, point to point, which causes a fault.
Could also be power or the earth issue to E11.
E11 could be internally faulty.
