Hi All,

I am new to the 405 world, recently acquired a 1991 Mi16 in excellent shape here in the USA.

I do have the Haynes manual but was wondering if the factory manuals are available for purchase or download anywhere?

I see a number of listings via Google but it is not clear if those are the actual factory workshop manuals or just digital copies of the Haynes.

Thanks.

Hi,and welcome.

A 405Mi16 ,now that brings back memories,I had a 1992 Mi16X4, brilliant car.
The XU9J4 engine was one of the best Peugeot made, just make sure your cambelt is replaced every 50-60K.
I can suggest two guys who may find you a Peugeot workshop manual. Mind you from what I can remember the Haynes manual is just as good.
Problem may be is that USA specification Peugeot`s had all kids of different stuff fitted, nothing like European ones.
email 405 boffin Mike Huntley at Club Peugeot UK. (405@clubpeugeotuk.org ) he may have one on his PC.
Also try Dean Hunter who deals in classic Peugeot parts PEUGEOT PARTS SPECIALISTS

There are classic Peugeot parts places in France and Germany like http://www.serie04.com/fr/80303-405 and www.franzose.de who may have one in stock.

Good hunting. Any more questions about the 405 just fire away.I prefer to talk about real old Peugeot`s.
