307 won't start beeping noise and flashing

Hi,
I'm looking for a little guidance please with my Peugeot 307 1.6 diesel hatchback, 55 plate.
I went to work this morning and car was fine. Went to start it after work and I got a lot of beeping from the dash, lights flashing, and the display screen is now in French. The car won't start. Central locking has also gone.
For about a week I had the plip battery spent sign come up but haven't got round to changing battery - not sure if this is linked to the problem.
If anyone has experienced the same thing or knows what it could be I would be grateful for any response.

I would start with the car battery. Get that checked out as a dieing battery can cause all sort of weird electrical behaviour.
As for the central locking, if the blib key battery has run out the the remote won't work but the central locking should still work when using the key (if the car battery is OK).
If the car battery is oknthen try running through the BSI reset procedure (search the forum).

Good to hear it is sorted Pugs are very sensitive on Voltage drops :thumb:
