Just done rear discs and note that the Haynes book of lies states 300Nm for the hub nuts on the rear. The largest torque wrench I have only goes to 210, but the actual purchase I have on the low profile nut has left me doing it to 'as tight as I can' but it's not hit 210Nm.
Is 300Nm actually for real?
My long since departed LR Defender was only 90Nm (though that admittedly is a two nut affair).
Surely damn tight with a locking nut is enough?
