:( I'VE TOLD I NEED A ML5C GEARBOX FOR MY PEUGEOT EXPERT 2.0 HDI 2003 WITH A DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL WILL A 406 FIT IT AS LONG AS IT'S A ML5C PLEASE HELP I'M GOING MAD:mad::confused:

Yes and no :)
The box will bolt in clutch is the same mounts the same but the selectors change over the years and only the latest ones will be likely to fit

Yours has a selector bolted on with 3 bolts and a big lever attached the 406 does not although as said the last 406s have the same shift pattern so might fit

All this is assuming hydraulic pull type clutch on yours not cable

whats the ages

Mine is a 2003 expert how will I find out what years it is.on the vehicle info bettyswollocks sends people I have noticed on gearbox info it tells you if it is a ML5C or or not. If it is will it fit:nod:

As i say there are at least 3 different gearboxes in hdi 406s

110hp boxes use a pull clutch i have seen 2 variations

90 hp can have push or pull clutch

position of reverse gear changes in 2002 aproximately putting it next to 1st gear it was below 5th on earlier versions

The last box is the one i think MIGHT fit your van depends on where your reverse gear lives
