I have 307 1.4hdi and it has it`s stock 195/65/R15 and I want to install 205/55/R16. How will this change or effect my car . Thanks.

why do u want wider tires? it could screw up ur alignment i think unless the tires are compatiable with ur car

Benefits:
More grip (better cornering, braking etc).
Better for driving over soft surfaces.

Downside:
Higher tyre cost(?)
Worse fuel economy
Suspension components wear out faster.
Steering is stiffer when travelling slowly.
